Curling is one of the most affordable winter activities in our country. Membership fees vary but generally adults can play for between $250-$400 a season. Some clubs offer single night membership in addition to full playing. Rates also vary for daytime and weekend curling and are usually lower than prime time league curling. Normally you would get 20-25 games a year if you played once a week while some full playing curlers play 75 or more games per season!
In many clubs, youth can curl for less than the price of a pair of new skates and adults can get two hours of great exercise and social networking for less than $10 an hour. Retired Canadians can curl for much less than that in the daytime league.
Ok, so cost isn’t an issue, ready to try curling?
